BALMAIN Spring 09 RTW

How right was I?! The prediction I made last season was correct. Balmain was all MJ and Madonna. '80s music this season, so I think it's safe if I say next season will be more '80s/'90s. The hit of this collection were the heavily sequined pieces, which looked thoroughly modern when they could have gone disastrously Aunt Maude in the '80s. The denim was hawt, too.




I love the destroyed element.




I own the grey Topshop-version of these pants!! Which is incredible since I bought them in July and this collection was presented in September. I love Topshop. I hope it never becomes what H&M became stateside.
