Thank goodness there are designers like Nicolas Ghesquiere in the fashion world. His collections are always refreshing. It's never a hash-out of the season's trends or a continuation of the collection before. S/S 08 is no exception. It was all about the dichotomy of the softness of flowers and the stylized, futuristic forms. Very couture. Though I don't care for florals, I found this collection so visually awesome. The looks stayed consistent with the short molded dresses and the knee-high gladiators. This was a good choice because an addition of other concepts would have been too much. And the color explosion!
