ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Fall 07 Paris

I definitely must compliment his modern-Egyptian collection. Again something I've thought of doing myself. There was some Greco/Spartan/Trojan influence mixed in there. I wish he'd stuck to the Egyptian theme and stuck to it to perfection. To further complicate with themes, I was quite surprised to find out that the theme was witchcraft. It was just all over the place.Generally beautiful as is usual with him. Bodypieces based off statues of Egyptian goddesses and queens. Use of gold, lapiz blue. Props to Charlotte Tilbury for re-creating Elizabeth Taylor makeup a la Cleopatra.
